    In this rubric, I will tell you how some characters evolve or devolve throught the play.

  • Macbeth

    Macbeth, at the beggining of the story, is a great general of King Duncan and is apreciated by everyone. he is a very good friend of Banquo and is thane of Glamis from the beggining.

    But, as he learns the prophecy told by the three Witches, he starts to change. He became more ambitious and kills the king to get his place. as he is crowed king, he sees a person suspected to be able to oppose him in everyone.

    He finally kills Banquo and Macduff's familly, which seals his fate. he is killed by Macduff after he became pure evil.

  • Lady Macbeth

    Lady Macbeth is Macbeth's wife. she has a lot of power over him.

    At the beggining of the play, she appears to be evil because she insists foe Macbeth to kill the King.

    After that, she is very proud of the position of Queen, but starts to feel guilty.

    But, as the story ends, she feel completely guilty and insecure and finally kills herself.

  • Banquo

    At the beggining of the play, he was a very good friend of Macbeth and was a general of the king. he was very happy of his life, winning battles and having friends.

    But when he discovers the prophecy, he became very suprised and unsure of himself.

    after, when King Duncan dies and Macbeth is strangely close to the good definition of the suspect,  he starts to see in Macbeth an enemy. He became a little bit afraid by Macbeth's actions as king, but is killed quickly by Macbeth's murderers.
