  • At the beggining of the play, everything is ordered correctly by King Duncan and his loyal subjects.
But when Macbeth and Banquo learn the prophesy of the witches, things start to change. Macbeth brakes the Order to replace it by complete Chaos by murdering the King.
After being crowed king, Order replaces a part of the Chaos.
This is the time where a rebellion forms with all Ordered by Malcom.
Sadly, the world wouldn't stay Ordered for a long time. Macbeth kills Banquo and Macduff's familly, which creates Chaos inside the rebellion.
Finally, when Macbeth dies, Order is restored and the world becomes peaceful under Malcom's reign.

  • Appearance and reality is a very important theme of Macbeth.

At the beggining of the play, everybody looks like what they are and what they do.
But after Macbeth and Banquo learned the prophesy, things start to change.
Macbeth changes from a good general to a murderer when he kills the king.
But he looked like the friendly general for a long time. Nobody exept Banquo thought it could be him who murdered the King. So his appearance was totally different then what he really was.
People discover his real face when he kills Macduff's familly and Banquo.
He became a tyrant and showed his real temper for the rest of the play.

  • The whole story Macbeth is based on Good versus Evil.

Macbeth was a very Good general who loved and was loved by the king. But after discovering the prophesy he became ambitious and killed the king, so became more Evil.
Then, as the story goes by, he killed his best friend Banquo and Macduff's familly, which lead to a rebellion against the Evil king.
Also, Macbeth was seeing ghosts and was dealing with Witches, which proved he was pur Evil at the end of the story.
Luckily, Malcom and Macduff won over Macbeth and they were Good, so the world, terrified by Macbeth's reign, turned a lot more peaceful then before.
